Are Government Contractors Putting the Public’s Data at Risk?
Cyber attacks are becoming more frequent and their consequences are growing more costly. From data theft to data vandalism, the number of cyber security incidents involving government contractors is on the rise. In this environment, being proactive is more critical than ever for government agencies.
Milligan Partners’ Cyber Security Specialist, Mark Adams, will speak at the 85th Annual International Bridge, Tunnel, and Turnpike Association (IBTTA) Meeting & Exhibition in Atlanta, Georgia. On Tuesday, September 12, Mark will be on a panel of experts and discuss cyber safety and security with IBTTA.
Mark will talk about how to manage third party risk and how to reduce your organization’s exposure to fiscal, operational, regulatory, and reputational risk. He will present the key elements of a third party risk management (TPRM) program that will include performing a risk assessment on the contractor, evaluating documentation, performing an on site review, and ensuring the proper contractual language is in place.
Mark Adams has over twenty years of technology experience in risk management, technology strategy, IT security, risk and compliance, and regulatory compliance.
